TWEET TWEET
JUST got retweeted by E! News! They had this segment on their show asking who we thought got snubbed by the Academy Award nominations earlier today, and I said “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo deserved WAY more nominations than they got. Including for best picture. #gotsnubbed” AND THE RETWEETED ME BITCHES!!
AND Jen Kirkman retweeted my last night as well!
She tweeted about her tumblr blog and I said “I’m SO ecstatic you have a tumblr. And so pissed that I just found out.” And she tweeted me back saying “well i hadn’t updated it since august so don’t be that pissed. you’ve missed….literally - nothing! xoxo”
LOVE IT!
This is motivation for me to go study again now.
Gusher.
I have to write this because it’s been on my mind all day.
I think it’s truly amazing and fascinating that the people that I admire are all beautiful and odd in their own ways.
Let’s take for instance…
Helena Bonham Carter- Goes against the ‘norm’ in pretty much everything. Doesn’t care for media or the limelight, and frankly probably doesn’t care what people say (negatively) in general. In you can tell she is very grounded and has a great head on her shoulders. Yet people find her really strange and ‘eccentric’. (Although who is to say that going against the norm is eccentric…).
Chelsea Handler- She is seriously the funniest but coolest person to watch on television. She admits her faults, and is so charitable towards others that it literally makes my heart hurt even thinking about it. She’s a sarcastic bitch sometimes and owns up to it, which I completely love. You can’t find many women who have the courage that she does now-a-days. You can tell that she is just enjoying her life.
Ok so I’m adding a new person too.
Jen Kirkman- I always loved seeing her on Chelsea Lately, but recently I’ve actually started reading more about her and stuff, and she seriously seems like the coolest person ever. She’s in tune with reality and has been through some shit, but she seems like one of those people that you can always count on, no matter what. I have really started to admire her, and I love the way she always stands out at the round table on Chelsea Lately. She’s not your typical “Chelsea Lately comedian”, which is SO cool to me.
I just sounded like a 5th grader writing a report on our heroes, but honestly, I don’t know where I would be without these women as an inspiration in my life. And I totally embrace my oddities and everything else that goes along with me because these women made it OK for us to be different and enjoy it!!
Ok that was a strange rant. Back to studying.
